Adelaide Bannerman - We speak in tongues about the thing(s) we love

We speak in tongues about the thing(s) we love is the 2021-2022 cultural programme for Phytology, at the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve in Tower Hamlets, featuring researchers: Eduardo Padilha, Farzana Khan, Daze Aghaji and George Chakravarthi.

Amongst many other stakeholder exchanges taking place at or about the reserve, we speak in tongues about the thing(s) we love is a thread of conversation facilitated by curator Adelaide Bannerman (Phytology curator in residence, 2021/22) inviting new site responsive engagements and commissions, that speak hyperlocally, and to global contexts. Each researcher enriches the reserve with their inimitable praxis and networks, which will manifest as a series of onsite and online interactions with neighbours and audiences across 2022/23.
