Phytology will extend our successful bat habitat project across East London this Summer, in collaboration with several housing estates and community groups.
Join us for our first session this June.
Sessions will involve building, painting and installing bat boxes in both Ion Square Gardens and in the Rose Garden on Columbia Road. We will also build a log pile at each site to provide important sheltering and hibernation habitat for the insects that bats love to eat.
Meet at Ion Square Gardens, E2 7RG - 11:30am - 1:30pm.
Please bring clothes that can get muddy, good footwear and gloves. Fingers crossed it wont rain but bring a coat in case of bad weather. All equipment and materials will be supplied.
Please bring a packed lunch as we will have a picnic afterwards to celebrate all the hard work.
