Evening Bat Walk & Moth Calling

Join Ecologist Olly Edmonds to learn all about London bats & the ecological importance of places like Haggerston Park to support these amazing mammals.

8:30pm - 10:00pm

You will learn how to use special bat listening detectors to locate bats as they emerge at dusk & feed over the pond and sports fields.

Keeping with the nocturnal theme, we will set up our moth calling machine, used to monitor and record local moth activity.
