Nourishing Ourselves

A free workshop facilitated by Artists Alaa Alsaraji and Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan, who will provide a set of prompts and guided activities to support you in using various art forms to nourish yourself. Saturday 21st May 10:30am - 15:00pm Phytology, Bethnal Green Nature Reserve, Middleton St, Bethnal Green, London E2 9RR

On Saturday 21st May, we will bring together a group of 20 people who use creative methods in their work or activism to use those same methods to nourish ourselves. People who use art or creativity in their work rarely get the chance to use their own skills to nourish themselves. We often get caught up in commissions and making ends meet, but when was the last time you used your creativity to nourish yourself? This can include any art-form, from writing, visual art or music.

This half-day workshop is for people of colour only.

BSL interpretation will be available and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
