Worm walk by Michael Huldt

Bethnal Green Nature Reserve is hosting a series of community-led co-learning workshops throughout summer, autumn, and winter 2024. These workshops focus on ecology, creativity, and experimentation.

Join us for the "Worm Walk" led by Michael Huldt.

The 21st of October is World Earthworm day. This October walk would use this as a jumping-off point to encourage deeper appreciation of these beautiful and important creatures. On this 'worm walk' we will use the site as a backdrop to learn about the biology and ecology of earthworms; and the specific role they play in the ecological functioning of the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve. The worm walk will explore ways we can all help conserve earthworms in future work at the reserve.
