Urban Ecology Walk

Join us for an ecology walk of the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve. We will introduce you to the many plants, fungi and animals living in our ponds, woodland, and mushroom farm.

You’ll learn about the unique ecosystems that make the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve such a remarkable haven in the city.

The Bethnal Green Nature Reserve is a is a WW2 bombsite that has been cared for since 1977 by residents and volunteers. The Nature Reserve has a delicate ecosystem of plants, bats, birds, trees, soil, fungi, amphibians, insects, and mammals (including people).
