Community Ecologies - The Colours of Herbs

Join us for 'The Colour of Herb's' walk on Saturday 6th September. We will walk among the plants, looking at their various colours and what they might tell us. This will involve talking about the constituents associated with each colours and their medicinal effect for both plants and consumers of plants. We will also look at how the colours relate to the surrounding animals and environment. The walk will involve a tea made from a Phytology Medicine Garden herb, and personal and group mind mapping with coloured pens.

Hosted by Odhran

Odhran (they/them) is a medical herbalist living between London and France. Their practice involves the practical application of herbalism within local communities, researching herbal trans health, and the curiosity of seeing the world from non-human perspectives.

They encourage the exploration of individuals’ subjective perspectives by involving all the senses, and by playing with the stories we learn and tell ourselves to make sense of the world.
