Join us for this late autumn walk looking at the wild plants growing at Bethnal Green Nature Reserve with Than Gunabalasingham of Nourish the Wild CIC.
We will be looking at their edible and medicinal uses, and how we can incorporate and work with them in our own growing spaces.

Bethnal Green Nature Reserve has been cared for by local residents and volunteers since 1977. Originally a WWII bomb-site, it now supports a thriving ecosystem of plants, bats, birds, fungi, and more—including people.

This workshop is run by Than Gunabalasingham of Nourish the Wild CIC. Than is a horticultural educator, having taught food growing courses at OrganicLea and The Orchard Project. With a background in food and environmental policy research, he now works to create and teach about resilient food systems.
Most of all he is passionate about food system change, wild plants and creating edible landscapes that mimic the principles of nature. I've attached a
