Join Aditi Kaushiva for a workshop exploring breath, gentle movement and Bharatanatyam mudras. The hand gestures of Indian classical dance as a way of connecting with the natural world and building the presence and resilience we need in a time of climate change.
Through sensory grounding and mudra-based improvisation, participants will explore gestures that embody flowers, birds, rivers and seasonal change. The session closes with a joyful community dance. No movement or dance experience needed.

Hosted by Aditi Kaushiva is a movement artist and founder of Move to Thrive, a creative health practice rooted in mindful movement, breathwork and joyful dance. Trained in Bharatanatyam and contemporary forms, she creates inclusive spaces blending Indian movement traditions, somatic practice and playful storytelling.

Bethnal Green Nature Reserve has been cared for by local residents and volunteers since 1977. Originally a WWII bomb-site, it now supports a thriving ecosystem of plants, bats, birds, fungi and more - including people.
