Join us for a free creative workshop to learn about the weird and wonderful world of worms through costume and Q&A with a live worm!
In our playful, lovingly weird and community-oriented workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions to a live worm, dress up as your own worm and create an estivation together
(a ball of worms).
We have so much to learn from worms, whose lives are generous to all other living beings, who process rotten things to turn them into fertile soil, who are hermaphrodites, are incredibly sensitive, are masters of darkness, and know how to depend on each other in times of stress.
In these times of overwhelm, how can we stay creative, vulnerable and kind to ourselves and our community? It’s time to ask the worms.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re curious, just want to learn about worms or desperately have always wanted to become a worm, this session is for you. We are hoping this will be a welcoming space for people of all ages and backgrounds.
We’ll start the session with worm Q&A, followed by an (optional) worm dress-up and estivation, and finish with a reflection. Materials provided - just bring yourself, and wear some pink or purple clothes if you want a head start!
