Wetland habitats of Bethnal Green Nature Reserve

The pond at Bethnal Green Nature reserve is home to a host of plants, insects, amphibians, birds and mammals. This will be a chance to learn about this habitat and meet some of the creatures here.

Bethnal Green Nature Reserve

The Bethnal Green Nature Reserve is a is a WW2 bombsite that has been cared for since 1977 by residents and volunteers. The Nature Reserve has a delicate ecosystem of plants, bats, birds, trees, soil, fungi, amphibians, insects, and mammals (including people).
