The Land-Body-Minds Meeting brings together four London-based grassroots collectives led by Black and People of Colour: LION (Land In Our Names), Earth Tenders, misery medicine, and the Bodyminds study group.
The gathering aims to share learnings and build solidarity between distinct but allied contributions to movements for land justice, health justice, and racial justice.
Our open-air venue, Phytology medicinal garden, is an urban physic garden located within Bethnal Green Nature Reserve.

We show up with a caring and curious spirit.
We consider our power and position and how this affects our engagement.
We respect the boundaries of the spaces and people we engage with.
We are accountable to ourselves and those around us.
(Thanks to Earth Tenders for these guidelines.)
A vegetarian meal will be provided. Please email Tom (K2302475@kingston.ac.uk) with dietary requirements.
There is shelter from wind and rain, but please dress for early autumn weather.
Mask-wearing is not mandated, but we encourage testing, masking if able, and staying home if unwell (to protect disabled/chronically ill facilitators and participants).
The site is wheelchair accessible, though paths are wood-chipped and uneven in places, with a ramp to the compost toilet. Please notify Tom in advance if you are a wheelchair user so preparations can be made.
Seating options available: chairs with back support, benches, stools, and floor fabrics.
For any access-related questions, email Tom (K2302475@kingston.ac.uk).
(Thanks to misery medicine for these notes.)
