Phytology will extend our successful bat habitat project across East London this Summer, in collaboration with several housing estates and community groups.
Join us for our second session this June.
Phytology Evening Bat Walk w/ Ecologist Olly Edmonds.
Meet at Phytology, Bethnal Green Nature Reserve, E2 9RR - 8:30pm - 10pm.
Hot soup will be provided whilst we wander around the garden to take a look at all the boxes and sculptures we have installed to provide roosting spots for local bats.
We will then use bat detecting equipment to listen for bats as they emerge around sunset before going on a short walk ending up at Haggerston Park at around 10pm. The walk will take in Ion Square Gardens where we will have installed some bat boxes earlier that day.
Please bring warm clothes, a coat and good footwear. Torches and equipment will be provided.
