What Was Us What Is Us: Survival - DIYing it

5.00pm – 8.30pm
Sat 25 July 2026

Not long ago in Romania, Madalina's uncle tuned a TV signal with a potato and a nail. Necessity has always been the best DIY teacher.

Join us for an afternoon of practical, community-led survival skills: 🌿 foraging, water filtration, disaster go-bags, 🥋 basic self-defence, grounding techniques, and more.

As wars, climate breakdown and the rise of the far right reshape everyday safety, what practical skills do we need to care for ourselves and each other?

Bring your own DIY electricity device for a chance to win prizes for the most functional—or brilliantly questionable—creation.

Food cooked on site. Please bring your own container, mug and cutlery.
