Join us to help make a worm farm for Bethnal Green Nature Reserve.
Wormeries are an amazing way of recycling uncooked food waste and producing a rich compost and liquid plant fertiliser called ‘worm tea’. They also provide a great habitat for some of the most important and interesting creatures on the planet.
At this workshop you will have the chance to learn about different worms and their needs, as well as help to build a new worm home using reclaimed and sustainably sourced materials.
There will be a shared lunch from 1pm – 2pm (bring something to share).
This is a free drop-in workshop open to all!
If you have any access needs that you would like us to accommodate for this activity please write to hari@nomad.org.uk
Funded by Veolia Environmental Trust.
